2020 APSA ConferencePolitics in the Age of Disruption and Realignment 

When: Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 September 2020 (PhD workshop to be held on Sunday 20 September 2020) 

Where: Hosted by Macquarie University, NSW, Australia  (The conference will take place in the new Arts Precinct building. )

Detail: The theme, ‘Politics in the Age of Disruption and Realignment’ recognises the rapidly changing nature of contemporary politics, and invites an explicit focus on the causes, manifestations and consequences of the new political, technological and ideological constellations of our time.

Submissions relating to political studies generally, and especially addressing the theme, are encouraged and can be made via the Abstract Submission Portal. We welcome innovative proposals for panels, roundtables and of course, submission from individual presenters in the following broad thematic areas:

  • Policy and Governance

All abstracts must be submitted online through the conference website by midnight AEST Monday 3 May 2020, 11:59pm AEST. Please note that the closing date for abstract submission will not be extended and abstracts will only be accepted if the presenting author has registered and paid by the presenter registration deadline of Friday 10 July 2020.
