Exchange Agreements

APSA organises a number of exchanges with the following Political Studies Organisations:

 

The New Zealand Political Studies Association offers any APSA member attending the NZPSA conference the ability to register at the NZPSA members’ rates.  NZPSA members are also eligible to register for APSA conference places at the same rate as ASPA members.  They will also provide the APSA President or nominee and one APSA member free conference registration and a free conference dinner. Priority is given to postgraduate and early career researchers but others are also eligible to apply.  Details of how and when to apply are below.

The Canadian Political Studies Association offers any APSA member attending the CPSA conference the ability to register at the CPSA members’ rates.  They also offer free conference registration to two Australian PSA graduate student members who are presenting papers at the CPSA conference.  To be eligible, APSA student members must first have an abstract accepted by the CPSA.  Once confirmation of abstract acceptance has been received, the member should contact the APSA National Office by 31 January in the year of conference attendance. Canadian PSA members are also eligible to register for APSA conference places at the same rate as ASPA members.

The Political Studies Association (United Kingdom) offers up to two APSA members free registraton and a ticket for the annual dinner, hotel accommodation for four nights and a guaranteed place on a suitable panel.  Advanced graduate students are welcome.  Exchangers should be able to present in English and benefit from academic interchange and networking opportunitites.  Exchangers are expected to be present for the full conference.  Applications should consist of a CV and an abstract of your paper.
